Reusing Old Decorations and Fashion tips

So....St. Patty's day just happened, and Easter is just around the corner... I don't have many decorations but I know how to make things work for more then just one holiday like many other budget decorators. But while St. Patricks day and Easter both involve spring decorations and colors, I like to go a little outside the box.
While past Easters involved lots of pastel colors (lavender, mint green, baby blue), and still do, a new theme used not only in egg decorating is glitter. Glitter adds pizzazz to a holiday that like Christmas is enjoyed by all, but especially by children. I incorporate Glitter by taking some of my plain colored christmas ornaments usually the green and purple ones, some of you might even have a wider color variety and may use pinks and blues, and use them and painted eggs to decorate my fence and plants. I also like to use  New Years Decorations, like tinsels along fences.
This is a great example of glittery eggs:

One cheap and party necessity I always have especially in Easter is balloons. While I set up the egg dying I let the kids decorate the balloons using colorful tape and stickers, but NO markers even sharpies because they quickly rub off all over their clothing. Also instead of using breakable eggs I cut out some egg shapes from wood and paint them white, we color them with normal paint for another fun craft!
There are so many easy and fun crafts to do for any holiday, and they can be cheap. Just look around your house for old things or even look at your recycling and trash before throwing it out for materials and ideas.
So Easter fashion.... remember the time when you were little and wore that pink puffy ruffly thing? ya pretty much every easter I ever had. And let me say that like me, you at a child probably didn't appreciate it either, so don't make your child suffer through it. There are many cute and less puffy Easter dresses for children, that don't require that itchy poofy taffeta underneath, that itches and annoys to no extent. But for those adults that do like that colorful girly look, if you feel like you as an adult can pull of that look, let me tell you ahead of time that you CANT. Your just gonna look like an adult dressed as a child, and the only person who can pull that off is Zooey Deschanel (images)
So a few elegant ideas for dressing yourself and family this Easter:
Wear COLOR!!!! neon is big this spring, but if you aren't ready for that much bright color pick a less vibrant color. Pick a nice pink or green dress and with a sweater; or wear some nice girly loose bright colored slacks with a plain flowy blouse. Green Dress: images  Hat: images; Slacks and Blouse: images
And don't forget an easter hat! Nothing too big, your not an old lady yet, something elegant and simple would do nicely.
For your son and husband/ boyfriend, a nice spring suit with a pastel colored shirt and a bright non clashing tie. Pick a neutral tan or light gray with a light blue shirt and green tie, maybe add in a vest. Your son can add something similar, maybe even match for a cute easter matching.
Daughter: floral bright dress, with a bow and maybe a ruffle or two, not too many though.
